FaceToFace is currently in Beta. Qualified agencies may be selected for our USB pilot program, receiving the software at a significantly reduced rate in exchange for using it in active cases and providing structured field feedback that improves the software for the entire LE community.

I acknowledge that FaceToFace Media Forensics Suite is BETA software. I understand that Beta software may contain errors, that all outputs are investigative aids only, that results must be independently verified by a qualified human expert, and that use in any legal or evidentiary context is entirely at my own risk. *

I confirm that I am a verified law enforcement officer or certified forensic professional and that the information provided in this application is accurate and complete. I understand that misrepresentation constitutes a violation of the EULA and may have legal consequences. *

I understand that the Air-Gapped Law Enforcement license is valid for twelve (12) months from the date of issuance and requires annual renewal. I agree to complete the renewal process before expiration to maintain an active license. *

Application is emailed to By Every Word Productions for manual review. You will receive a confirmation email within 2-3 business days.

Purchase or Obtain Your License Key

Purchase FaceToFace via Payhip at payhip.com/byeverywordproductions or obtain your agency license key through the approved application process. Your license key will be delivered by email.

Install FaceToFace on Your Air-Gapped Machine

Run the provided setup.exe installer on your air-gapped workstation. Install all model packages (models.zip, data.zip) as directed in the installation guide. No internet connection is required after installation.

Open Registration & Export Offline Request

Launch FaceToFace. Click the gear icon ⚙ → Registration. Enter your license key and email address. Click "Export Offline Request". The software will generate a secure request file (facetoface_offline_request.json) and save it to your machine.

Air-Gapped System — File Transfer Instructions

If your workstation has no internet access, you must transfer the request file to an internet-connected machine to send it. Follow these steps:

Copy facetoface_offline_request.json to a USB drive from the air-gapped machine
Transfer the USB to an internet-connected machine (separate from the air-gapped system)
From the internet-connected machine, compose an email to byeverywordproductions@gmail.com
Use subject line: "OFFLINE ACTIVATION REQUEST — [Agency Name]"
Attach the facetoface_offline_request.json file
Send the email and await your activation response (typically within 1 business day)

Receive & Transfer Activation Response

You will receive an email containing your activation response file (offline_activation.json). Save this file to a USB drive and transfer it to your air-gapped machine.

Import Activation Response

On your air-gapped machine, open FaceToFace → gear icon ⚙ → Registration. Click "Import Offline Response" and select the offline_activation.json file. The software will activate immediately. No internet connection required.

Annual Renewal

Your air-gapped license is valid for 12 months. At 11 months, FaceToFace will display a renewal warning. Repeat this process annually to maintain an active license. Renewal applications can be submitted through this portal.

Field reports are available to approved Beta pilot agencies. Your reports directly shape the development of FaceToFace and become part of our validation dataset. All submissions are confidential — do not include case-identifying information.

Every edge case, failure, limitation, and success you report builds the testing methodology and known limitations documentation that will support FaceToFace's post-Beta validation. Your field experience is invaluable — and directly credited in our acknowledgments.
